It's not how many we have, but how many we have that can play. We had several this season, but none that were consistently good.

Can we really say that? My point being, Calipari really hasn't run that offense (And, I don't mind, because he's been a tad over .500) I think everyone in America should throw away the notion of identifying that offense with Cal, or Cal with that offense.

With this much history, I think it fair to say that Calipari HAS no offensive identity. In fact, not being nasty, he doesn't really run an offense at all. He might signal a play for a player, but he doesn't have drilled systems that result in an "option 1, option 2, option 3" type of player movement.

And, I'm sure it's entirely because you can't teach systems to one year players.

Will be interesting to see who stays and who gos. Only 2 real NBA talents, anyone besides Ullis or Muarry is D league AT BEST. I think Briscoe could improve with another year of college. Skal should look closely at Daniel Ortons career, he NEEDS at least another year. Lee, I don't think it will matter to his basketball future wether he stays or goes. Willis should obviously come back.

I think out of that bunch you can throw lee out, but I think we have a chance to build Hump and Tai. Skal if he comes back will get better but still will not know about him until next year. The new guys should be good but hard to tell with new guys. Willis is an outside stretch so not a down low guy.

Lee should go help the Volley Ball team. I think that is where he could dominate. He just does not have a basketball mind.

Haven't run the dribble drive since 2010.

This team was an offensive beast. Just have to hit open shots...and you have to have consistent big men. When Dakari left he tore a hole in this team. Won't be the case next year.

Just had a bad feeling all day.

Same Ole thing. Bryant scores 19 and our entire 4 man front line scores 14.
throw in an off shooting night and this is why we lost 8 games coming into this.

Worse front line since Woo and Shag. Glad we don't have another year if them. Their lack of skill is matched only by their consistent lack of effort.

IU is a better overall team actually and Crean coached a hell of a game. Won't see me bad mouthing him anymore.

Going to miss Ulis and Murray. They were amazing. I think Briscoe will return to be a great leader next year with out very young team. Ulus was simply the best PG ever at UK, imo.

Pardon me if I don't watch the NBA Draft or care one little bit about it.

This hurts a lot worse because we left one on the table last year.

Crean did have a great gameplan.

Cal was convinced Indiana couldn't guard us off the dribble. Thought he really hamstrung Murray in this game early. Murray is a shooter; he needed to shoot. The head-down, drive-it-to-the-goal game really wasn't the kind of team we were all season.

Cal is learning more than ever it is very hard to win the 2nd NC.

Yea, thats the point Will. We havent run it or anything pretty much since Cal has been here. Lots of standing around. I disagree we were an offensive beast. When you depend on two players too much as we did, a good game plan will shut you down. Not too upset, we were an average team this year, I knew it coming in.

He wasn't going to do it with this roster without a ton of luck.

This team had major holes. Great point guard, great two guard, then a lot of inconsistency all up and down the roster especially inside.

Cal had the great run with a similar team in 2011, but that team got better and better in the paint. This team stayed maddeningly erratic.

Let's not get carried away. We were the most efficient offense coming into this game,

But any rational fan knew our ceiling was the Sweet 16. And today should have been a S16 game.

Did not think he would this year. He should have last year. He was hoping to ride Ulis and Murray as far as he could this year. He is not coming up with game plans for our offense. He is not learning from his own mistakes. He is not learning from his same coaching mistakes. Last year with talent he tried to ride the Twins with a roster full of NBA players. This year he does not develop Lee or AP. He knew all summer and fall what he had. He did not learn much if you ask me. Is IU's bigs better than ours. no. Did IU just beat us with a makeshift team Yes. They had 3 guys get hurt today. Down 3 guys and he does not change one thing during the game. If you ask me he is not much different than the other Wildcat Coach out west. He can recruit better but for the past couple of years he has been out coached too many times.

If you are a NBA scout tell me why you would draft Skal this year. Can you imagine what NBA big men would do to him.

I think the gameplan was good in theory. IU couldn't really guard anybody all year.

When it was clear it wasn't going to work, we should've ditched it. Instead we came out in the second half and kind of started it over again.

Having said that, the players are always more important than the gameplan. I loved Alex, sad that he's gone...but he never could put it together for some reason. We really needed him today.
