Thanks all! Good luck going forward! To be honest - I have Kentucky going very far in my bracket. Outcome was what I expected, though I didn't think we'd shoot so badly. SBU players not named Warney shot 10-55 from the field. That is just brutal.

That was not a common defensive effort for Kentucky. We can score a lot of points but we tend to give up a lot. Cal had a really good gameplan and I thought your guys were frustrated and confused.

Calipari probably doesn't get enough credit for how he draws up defensive gameplans in big games. He's going to need to go back to the well for Yogi Saturday.

The Jay's on ESPN just picked IU over UK. Because they have a better offense?? I thought we had the #1 offense in the country? Both said IU is loose with the ball and are not a great defensive team but do all the other things well??? Bilas usually makes more sense, Jay Williams picks against us a bunch so i am used to that.

Anyway rest up CATS get ready for some more red on the floor Saturday. Let's bury the Hoosiers early and deep.

Indiana scores a lot of points. I dont know how that translates to efficiency but they do have a great offense.

Cannot wait to see them tip. I think we will play hard and hopefully at the end of the night come out of Iowa and head to Philly to play Providence or UNC. I still think Providence will give UNC all they want. I will look at Ken Pom on IU tomorrow and see what they look like.

Stony played hard. Did not make things easy for about 25 minutes. They are a good team. Congrats to Stony Brook. Future is bright for you guys. You got your first NCAA game under your belts and now you can go back and get it going again.

UK had 5 guys in double figures against TAM, and they had 5 in double figures again tonight. Add some stiff D, and UK is going to be a tough out.

Saturday's gonna be tough, but as others have said, IU doesn't play defense. If we get after it, we can win this game.

I haven't watched any of this game yet. I woke up about 11:30 and checked the sore and saw UK was up by about 30 so I had a peaceful rest of the night. Sounded like a slow start but SB just had no answer. They weren't used to playing against this type of athletes and length UK has. Amazing that UK broke a record with blocked shots. You would have thought last years team would have done that. Overall UK is playing well. They are going to need a great effort Saturday to beat IU. We'll start a thread for IU talk in a moment.

Folks, it is what it is. Kentucky will play Indiana on Saturday and one team will lose. I sure hope it's not us, but I look for a good game and hope we keep going inside to Poythress. I don't think anybody IU has can stop him when he gets the ball in the block. I hope we have a good Officiating crew. Last nights crew scares me a lot. Skal, playing like he is now, will also be a problem for IU. There are just as many IU fans worrying about us as there are UK fans worrying about them.
