Stony played hard. Did not make things easy for about 25 minutes. They are a good team. Congrats to Stony Brook. Future is bright for you guys. You got your first NCAA game under your belts and now you can go back and get it going again.

I did. SB WAY overmatched. They were gassed midway through the first half and that is when I called the game. It was only a matter of time until we smoked them. Bring on the Hoosiers!!!!

Willis 8 points 5 rebounds 1 assist, 2 blocks and 1 steal. Got beat on D a few times but not a bad night at all. Briscoe 13 points 11 rebounds. Way to go Briscoe.

I know we just won pretty big but for some reason I dont feel good about it. I saw a lot of uncharacteristic things tonight that worry me. Maybe just because I know its one and done but just dont feel as good as some about this win. Maybe Im just being a worry wart.

Ulis and Murray have to be better early in the game than they were tonight.

Great game after the putrid first few minutes. Defense was the best I've seen it in a long time. Really liked Skal and Poythress tonight. Poythress was just too strong, too fast, too aggressive.

Saturday is going to be tough. Two similar teams. Will come down to who can give the more consistent defensive effort.

It was clear Cal had worked on a crapload of defense, mostly for the Stony Brook big guy...but you have to think he'd started to put in some things for Indiana too.

Always a good night when you break a longstanding NCAA blocks record.
