Seth Greenburg was going on and on last night about how the Cats are poised to make a Final Four run. He said when Alex is into the game that we are hard to stop. I agree. This is a different Cal team than we have seen in a while. Guard heavy. You gotta have good guards in March and we have the best backcourt. Cats are looking good but there is still room for improvement.

Someone else said it but i agree, Briscoe is overlooked by many because of his offensive liabilities including myself. Man does he get after it on defense and hitting the glass during the games. If only he could hit a freethrow consistenly, no doubt in my mind he could score 15-20 a game each and every night. This kid can get to the rim each and everytime he wants and just has that freakish ball handling ability with strength to get there. He kind of reminds me of Keith Bogans without the jumpshot. Bogans would pound you on the college level getting to the rim except Briscoe can actually do it alot more flued and better in my opinion..........Comment

Briscoe may be my favorite Cal player just because he's so unorthodox. Really had a hand in so many games this year and it rarely shows up on the stat sheet.
Has SO MUCH to learn though. Not only the jumper, but he also needs a floater and really so many offensive tricks in the toolbox. Hard to be a dominant player if all you have is a lay-up.
But I really like him because he's freakishly tough.Comment
