    The Post-Game Game Thread

Cats looked very good. When we are hitting 3's like that and Alex is plugged in we are a tough team to beat. Dom had a solid game. Lee and Skal didn't do much but they did not have to. I was impressed tonight.

I didn't get to see much because I had quartet practice for the Beast Feast tomorrow night, and the game was pretty much decided. I figured Alex looked good because the crowd went nuts when he hit a 3. I sure missed WCN.

Alex channeled his inner Jamal Mashburn tonight. With that Alex this team doesn't lose. Cats really have it rolling right now....

I was kind of surprised to see Hawkins get in the game so early.

The way we played last night, we have to be in the FF conversation, in my opinion.

Hawkins played great. Thought the energy he brought in the first half really turned that game.

                D. Willis needs to knock down a few threes and get his confidence back. Just hasn't been the same since his ankle injury and layoff. With Skal becoming a entirely different player now, team is starting to get dangerous at the right time............

Skal showed off two beautiful hook shots last night, but he reverted a few times to Old Skal.

Rebound came off once and he couldn't grab it and it ended up as an Alabama three. I think Cal took him out for a long stretch. Also couldn't quite get the jumper going like he has been, but that's going to happen.

It didn't matter because Poythress was so good. And because it was Alabama. But didn't think he was great.

I agree, Skal wasn't great last night at all. Struggled shooting the ball but still alot better than 1 month ago. Still need Willis to get back into rhythm offensively and we should be good.

Most of all, i am going to sit back and enjoy the last days of Murray and Ulis moving foward.

There was one rebound, in the first half, that I remember Skal going after forcefully and grabbing. He really looked good on that play.

He's really improved his rebounding. Night and day from where he was just six or eight weeks ago.

Still gets blown up sometimes. It's strength but it's also instinct. Just doesn't have that natural "feel" the way the really good players have. His learning curve is obviously much steeper.

Agree, Dom did great. Came in early and gave us exactly what we needed. Briscoe does not get mentioned enough. Man he is a tough nosed guy. He is quicker than he looks and is as strong as most forwards out there. Add to that how well Murray passed. Just 1 or 2 mistakes by Murray trying to do too much. Ulis was not hitting shots that have been falling all year but he did his normal awesome job. He got some much needed rest with us having back to back games. Possibly back to back to back games.

                              WAY TO GO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
