Same here. He's a tool off the air, but he's good at what he does. Plus, the guy says time and again that he isn't a journalist. After all this time, I'm not sure why anyone would bother to hold him to such standards.

The only thing that was sort of new was that the NCAA got three recruits to say that money was paid to those girls to have sex with them. In the NCAA law that is enough to convict UL. Still no proof of money trail and that others had knowledge even though we know they did. Unless they can get McGee to talk it may not go much further than this.

^which still doesn't mean that there would be no further punishments. Just that Jurich and Pitinr would keep their squeaky clean image.

This may be the first time it has been reported they said it to the NCAA but I''m almost certain it has previously been reported that three players had said this.

Reports coming out that UL is self imposing more sanctions. They are taking away a scholarship for the 17-18 and 18-19 season Also limiting recruiting time for coaches.

This "penalty" is a joke. Losing one schollie per year for 2 years that they wouldn't fill with a real player anyway. And how many recruiting visits do you need when you recruit 5th year grad transfers anyway?

They know they have a Top 10 team back and they don't want another ban. If they get the ban from the NCAA, it will set them back a while.

Some bird fans are glad they are doing this now. They are saying this way they are able to participate in tourneys in 2017. We shall see.

The longer Pitino is still there the more they put next year's postseason eligibility and the 2013 banner in jeopardy.

Their banner is not in trouble. The NCAA is not taking away titles. Not that they shouldn't but they just won't do it. But they should get banned again from post season, IMO.

Bob's right. The NCAA doesn't remove banners. They've only done so once or twice in the modern history of the association.

I am well aware that they usually don't. But saying that they don't and/or won't is incorrect. We have no idea what they will or won't do...

I agree that they won't in this case. But like you said, they should. And I'm for UofL doing everything they can to tempt the NCAA to do it.

Could the Courier Journal have made RP look any worse? I hope that pic is an exaggeration.

Matt says, on radio, that a current staff member was involved in it as well and will be let go in the coming weeks....

                                Wow.

Why would that person have not been.let go long ago? They just found out he was involved?? I have some good sources on this whole fiasco and I haven't even heard about this person.

Unreal how deep this thing is. And Pitino tries to play it off like this was one rogue coach responsible for the whole thing lol.
