If I had to guess I would say that it's a revelation about who this "Coach Mike" character is that Powell's always talking about.
Most have assumed that it's former Louisville guard Mike Marra, who was injured and then became a student assistant during the 2012-2013 year. Incidentally that's the year UofL won their title.Comment

I have THREE very good sources on this situation and many other sources on the parameters of the drama.
If half of what they told me happened actually happened in this case people are going to be amazed.
I have no reason to believe my sources are not accurate about their info on the matter. If anyone would like to know what I have been told I'll be glad to.post it on here.👍 1Comment

There is TONS more to this than has been made public by any party involved.

When it rains it pours, no love for Louisville. Pitino came to Louisville with a Championship resume' and NBA coaching experience, no reason why his program would have to resort to such tactics to land and draw recruits. On top of that, Denny Crum built Louisville basketball into a respectable program with multiple championships and with Papa John money funding UofL athletics for so long, Louisville simply did not need to go this route in order to win and stay competitive. As i have always said about the GREAT JURICH to UofL fans, he's fool's gold. Yes he took you from a bad conference to the Big East and ACC but how does Louisville stay pace with Kentucky many years down the road after the great Pitino is gone??? Now have to face Duke and Carolina year in and year out, does anyone really think that Duke and Carolina are going to fall off anytime soon?? Louisville has built a good football program but then again, join the SEC and let's see what you got year in and year out!!!!!!!!!!
