Per CBS Ulis named because he is both offense and defense best player to his team.

Also stated he will be first team All American.

The official SEC awards will be out today or tomorrow. It's going to be interesting to see who gets what award. Ulis should get POY and I think Murray should get freshman of the year. To the victor goes the spoils IMO.

Tell us something we didn't already know. This guy is dynamite and I hope he returns next season. He has endeared himself to the BBN like Chuck Hayes did and it is always sad to see a player like that go. He has definitely become one of my favorite Cats of all time and without a doubt the best PG at least since I have been alive.

I agree Blue. Best pure PG I've seen at UK no question. I'd love for him to stay but I don't think that happens, and I don't blame Ulis one bit. Maybe he surprises all of us. Really happy for him and Murray....both are very deserving.
