Missed the game live and just finished watching the game. This team is starting to come together and what can you say about the performance of Skal today? I still don't like the fact that Briscoe is taking jump shots but oh well, this team is starting to click. Willis showed a little rust but glad he's 3 point shot didn't leave him. With great backcourt play and our bigs starting to become more consistent, the ups and downs of the regular season mean nothing. With Ulis at the helm, this team is as dangerous as any team in the field.

Missed the game. Someone decided to total my daughters car so was out finding another one. Seems like everyone on here liked the game. This is good to hear. Let's win the SEC tourney now.

So now everyone is 0-0. Well most everyone Louisville,SMU and Mizzou are 0-1. Time to play season 2, SEC Tourney. Looks like we have a good bracket as the 2 seed. LSU, Vandy and Texas AM are all in the top part of the bracket and we would only have to play one of the three. Have to make sure we are focused on the prize and come out playing hard. Need to make sure Ulis and Murray do not have to play 36 plus minutes a game on back to back to back nights. Will be good to see where we stand after next week. Hope we move up to a solid 3 seed and play in the South region.

Obvious to say if Skal plays like he has the last two games the rest of the way UK has a shot at winning it all. As long as he doesn't have to go against really tough big men like from UNC he will be OK. He's playing with more confidence and looks like he's really enjoying himself for the 1st time all season. You have to be happy for him.
Ulis with a great game. 14 assists and 14 points. Murray had a quiet 22. Lee was very active inside and Poythress got in on the fun in 2nd half. Congrats to him on a good career at UK.

I'm not so sure about Simmons being a great pro. He has to improve that outside shot of his to be a great player. UK layed off on him all day and I don't think he made shot outside of 3 feet from the rim. They mentioned he had only taken three, 3 pointers all season. The pros will take that drive away from him if he has no outside shot. Also not so sure he has the work ethic to get better either. You can also see how he was probably a very divisive personality for that team. I would bet most those guys can't stand him on that LSU team.

Anyway, onward to the SEC tournament. Over the years UK has owned that tournament. I expect another good tourney in Nashville with a huge UK crowd to give them that extra advantage.
