Yeah, I agree with that. The back-line presence isn't what it usually is with UK which affects the entire defense. It's the main reason the defensive numbers are so vanilla across the board and why we get into these movements in games where we give up points every time. Ulis and Briscoe are elite defenders but their efforts are sometimes wasted because instead of blocking shots we tend to foul.

The silver lining is that the guards on this team are high-level rebounders. And UK still leads the SEC in blocks as soft as they are down there.

As a fan you just hope they won't run into one of those five or six teams who could really exploit them in the NCAA Tournament.

Missing ingredient comes in the form of K. Towns, D. Cousins, A. Davis, maybe J. Randle. A proven reliable post scorer would open up this entire offense but still doesn't mean this team doesn't stand a chance. We just need the combination of Lee,Skal,Alex,and Humphries to hold there own in the +/- category...............
