I dont know what happened with JF/Crazzed Cat but i for one will miss the dude even though we disagreed 99.9% of the time. I always respected Crazzed because he's very passionate about Wildcat basketball and to be honest, i am surprised both he and i didnt get banned early on in Gillispie's first year, we just didn't like him and had inside sources on Billys actions....

Maybe after this blows over, perhaps Crazzed can be reinstated? I don't know the ins or outs but i do think he brought something to the table and he loves the Cats as much as any of us.....

Well...I've seen posters banned. The mods here have a big heart. I'm probably oversimplifying the rules, but in general no name calling or derogatory slams against a player, coach, or fellow poster. Disapproval of that player or coaches job performance is normal...also disagreeing with another poster is allowed. More extreme than that is more for what used to be the political board...which in its day a poster had to request to join....and since that was a request, the comments and posts were more livid.

This is a huge win four this team and how this season works out. The fact that these kids are tied for first place with all the weaknesses The team has is quite a feat.

Ulis does what he wants without impunity because he's an absolute freak of nature. He doesn't care if Cal's over there or not, IMO. He's as much of a coach as any player I've seen at UK.

I think today was just an extension of how this team has been playing. With the exception of the stretch against Tennessee, we've been playing great for going on three weeks now.

Not sure I understand. Are you saying Ulis doesn't have to run the plays that Cal calls or is Ulis the one calling the plays?

I think Ulis runs what the Coach calls, but yesterday Coach Payne said the coaches were helping the defense and Ulis was running the offense.

Sounds like Ulis deserves a cut of Cal's pay....

Cal does call in the plays a lot of the time from the sideline, but just as often Ulis gets guys in position and does his own thing.

Ulis is one of those rare players who doesn't need the coach scripting what he needs to do. He's such a cerebral, intelligent player that he could run this team effectively at this point without Cal being over there.

That's how special this guy is.

Great game. I never would have thought in a million years they would gone down there and won by nearly 30 points. If it takes Cal getting kicked out early in the game to get that result then so be it. He should do it every game.

The officiating was about as bad as I have seen in a long time. Greene should have retired years ago. I have VHS tapes of UK games that he officiated back in the early 90's. That shows he is way past doing anything good on the court. UK has had problems with Sirmons before. He's basically a joke as an official. I had never heard of the other official. He did nothing but run up and down the court all day anyway. I'm not sure he made a call the entire game. It wouldn't surprise me that Cal saw who had doing the game and knew he had to do something drastic to make sure he got at least a few calls their way and to fire up his team. The SEC should be thoroughly embarrassed by this charade of officials. But like always they will buried their heads in the sand and stand by them.
