Cal Says Wynyard Will Likely Redshirt

Says that he thought about putting him in against Georgia but Tai didn't look like he wanted to play. So he'll probably hold him out until next year.

He sent him to the scorers table in a game not long after he was eligible but he didn't get in as the game ran out. I never thought he would play. Cal said at the beginning that Wynard was in terrible condition and couldn't get up an down the court without gasping for air. Best for him to just wait until next year and see where he may fit in.

In my opinion however our season plays out, playing him would not justify wasting his red shirt.

I agree. I doubt if he would be much help, if any, now.

In Cal I trust. Obviously he feels he isn't there defensively. Cal does overthink things sometimes and part of me wonders if he can be any worse than certain players.
