I don't think that really matters, it's not like it was a bad loss.

And for me, I always hope Kansas loses.....no matter what their fan base is going to be out for blood saturday and that place will be rocking.

Saturday, I sure would not want to see those KU fans who sat in front of us in New Orleans for the Championship game. Unless we pull out a win.

Given the way both teams have been playing lately, I'm beginning to think victory may not be out of reach after all.

Not sure about victory, but I think we can play well.

College basketball is funny though. It sometimes goes day to day rather than week to week. The team you see on Wednesday may be radically different than the one you see on the weekend. Youth compounds this.

Definitely though the two teams are going in different directions. Personally, I still think we get clobbered. Willis isn't going to be ready for this, they're going to be fired up from last year...I don't think it'll be a bloodbath, but I think it will be the kind of game where it's relatively "close" with 10 minutes to go and then they stretch it.

I think they can win but it's not likely. Will probably take a big game from Murray. But on the positive, he didn't shoot it well last night so he might be due to blow up.

Here is my issue and hopefully its changed. Missouri was easy because it was fun and we were up the whole time. This team doesn't have to win sat but I don't want to see them lay down. When they show me they can play through adversity I will feel much better about them as a team. I am fine with a loss just lose playing hard. (and smart)

Yeah they have a weird thing that, when they're playing well, they can extend leads pretty good.

Strange things happen though when teams go on runs. We've seen it against UCLA, Ohio State, and especially Auburn--teams just hit a couple of shots and we seem to panic.

Cal has said this team reminds him of the Julius Randle team. That team would let the smallest things snowball. That's just youth.

It's going to be really hard Saturday to kind of keep composure and fight through Kansas' runs. They make about 9 threes a game though and they've got three guys over 40% and one over 50 from three. So they're going to hit a few.

Kentucky wilted when Canty started his circus show at Auburn. That was against a terrible, atrocious team. Wilting in Lawrence will obviously lead to really bad things.

Marcus Lee needs to come out of his shell for this game. I hope to see his energy and enthusiasm on Saturday because if he has a good game, I think UK will have a legitimate shot for a upset. UK will need to hit at least 7-8 threes as well for an upset. But I then still can't get that Ohio State game out of my head. If UK plays like that they will lose by 40.

Lee has been strange. I thought through the first 8 or so games he was as steady as anybody we had not named Ulis. But he's just fallen off.

I think what's happened is that he can't not foul. It's hamstrung him and probably got in his head a little. And then you have the way Willis has played, totally taking Lee's minutes, and I think he's probably reeling mentally.

That on top of Skal coming along seem to definitely be weighing on his mind.
