I can understand seeing Murray this way but I have to disagree. Murray is a better shooter. I know his shooting hasnt been the best but I think a lot of his problem is wanting to do too much. Archie did things that would make me scream. Simple things you learn in Jr. High like NEVER EVER passing to the open man in a two on one. I know this is terrible but part of me just kinda looks over Archie as a UK player. I know that wont erase history but kinda left a sour taste in my mouth cause he made me eat my feet.

No, you didn't make that up. More folks said that over the last few weeks than "Murray = Goodwin." This is the first time I've seen a Murray/Goodwin comparison.

Archie Goodwin obviously doesn't have close to the natural ability that Jamal Murray does.

The only people saying this nonsense are the people that were clamoring for Derek Willis to get more playing time, but now that he is, I'm curious to see their next scapegoat. Based on early rumblings, Isaiah Briscoe, which is also nonsense.

100% disagree, Murray can shoot, especially when he gets hot, Archie was freakishly athletic but couldn't shoot, I honestly see no resemblance.

I have no issue with Murray shooting an open three every time he gets one, along with Ulis and Willis. On nights where Poythress, Skal, and Lee do not show up, we need those shots to fall.

Jamal Murray can be a gun but this team needs a gun.

And a gun that is now approaching 40% from three is fine by me. When Murray was down in the 20s that was a problem. On this team if you're hitting those shots then you need to take them. We've seen what happens when Murray goes cold and it isn't pretty. When he's going right he can carry the team.

He and Ulis need to shoot the basketball pretty much every time they're open. It's the only way this team achieves anything. We just don't have the horses to play high-level basketball when those two aren't shooting (and scoring).
