So do we get Kansas at home next year?

I know the game is part of the SEC/Big 12 challenge but I was wondering if anyone had any detailed inside information on next year. IMO they should play back to back years so each team has their chance at home court advantage, even though I don't recall it working that way.

I don't believe so. I am pretty sure the Champions Classic is only extended through 2016 (UK vs. Mich St).

I am pretty sure KU will make a return trip to Rupp next year for the second part of the SEC/Big 12 challenge

We will play Mich. st next November in the champions classic, and like JF said it will be the last year unless they renew it for the third time.

This is the SEC-Big 12 Challenge, last years meeting 2014-15 was the Champions Classic.
If the SEC- Big 12 Challenge still exist next year, it will probably be Oklahoma.

Pitino dropped Kansas from our schedule because it was a long trip to go to nowhere.

It's only fair IMO that you switch the same teams home court every year, but obviously I have no say in scheduling. It wouldn't matter to me how good either team is I just think that is the fair way to do it.

It ain't gonna matter next year anyway because we are going to be LOADED. I hate putting the cart before the horse but next year is going to be really fun. Lots of good times.

If nothing else, this season (I know it's not over yet) should have taught us not to count our chickens before they hatch. I would never have thought Skal and Briscoe would have had the seasons they've had so far.

What's wrong with Briscoe's season other than he can't shoot?

I think by and large he's had a very solid season even with the putrid shooting. Maybe the best defender Cal has had as a freshman and one of the toughest young players I've ever seen at Kentucky.

He shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Skal.
