    Skal SEC Freshman of the Week

    Skal shares SEC Freshman of the week with Antonio Blakeney of LSU. I suspect Murray and Briscoe will a couple of these awards before the season is done.

      Well-deserved. Haven't seen too many games from UK big men like he had the other night.

      It was against NJIT, but we play NJITs every year. What Skal did Saturday was sort of freakish.

              Skal is shooting 90% from the foul line and 77% from the floor.

              Tomorrow night he'll have to do it against a much different type of athlete. Will be fascinating to see. I tend to think that he's so skilled as long as he plays hard he'll be fine. The times so far when he's had trouble is when he seems to be over-thinking things.
