I think we will be in the hunt when it counts the most, that's all that really matters in my opinion. Won't get totally flipped if we hit a few pot holes on the way but let's be honest, who's going to check and stop Jamal Murray in a ISO one on one when the game is on the line???? Murray is the true NBA ready star for this team and if everyone else involved develops, Cats are good to go.......................

Regarding Duke, they played an exhibition last night and still didn't use Thornton at point. Grayson Allen actually started there. (Matt Jones is injured.) Not sure what that means--they won a national title playing John Scheyer at point, a position he'd never played in his life--but Thornton was supposed to be the next in line after Tyus Jones. Kind of an interesting subplot to start the season.
Luke Kennard had 25 points. He'll make a run at Reddick's scoring record because he'll be there forever.Comment

BBN Fam thanks for welcoming me! I peeked into some other UK forums/blogs but I could tell I would feel more at home here.
You have family in California...I can't tell you how many times I break out with my UK basketball duds total strangers will stop and ask you're a UK fan?! I was stopped more than the norm last year when we had what the analyst called the "college level dream team". I make it a point (and for that matter vice versa) to acknowledge with a nod/jester/or a quick shout-out when I run into UK fans out here in Pac 12 country-Lol. I do have to admit for womens basketball I am all in Cal Bears and I have been for quite some years since I know quite a few players folks. And if I'm going to root for anyone outside of UK only now would I root for Cal Bears Men team because once again, I know some of the recent recruits folks so this season I will attend some women and men Cal Bear games to support the kids.
Unlike most of you that are life long Kentucky fans I'm a newbie I got on board 2009 but from this point on I can say BBN for life (take the good with the bad year). I wish I could attend a game just once at Rupp, I'm going to have to put that on my Bucket List... Y'all Is it really that hard to get tickets?
Thanks for your feedback to my questions... wanted to get a sense if some of you were thinking like me. For the most part I'm with your predictions Roper except I think we will beat 1 of the 2-Duke or LSU making our regular season record 28-3 (17-1 possibly). And speaking of Duke, yeah wonder why Thorton is not playing that was the purpose of him reclassifying ..I think they may have growing pains early...
I am concerned about Vandy & Texas A&M but I think we can pull it off.
My main concern is the frontcourt, chemistry and defense in the paint (need dominant frontcourt).
