Committee passes unanimously the age based rule. 5 years to play college ball from the time they arrive on campus or 19th birthday, which ever comes first.

That's a start. Now if they can limit the number of times a player transfers and some sort of salary cap (team) or salary limit (player) we'll really be making progress. -

I believe it's not their 19th birthday but the start of the academic year following their 19th birthday.Comment

Not sure that conclusion is correct. The rule states his five years starts at the beginning of the academic year following his 19th birthday. Given his birthday of March 2004, did his five years start in the fall of 2023 long before this rule was adopted? Or does it start this fall?Comment

I saw online that he’d get two years, senior year upcoming and then the 5th year. Same for Milan and McBride. KSR had a short write up on its impact for UK players.

I think Momcilovic, McBride, and Morton would be eligible to come back for a fifth year.
Sounds like we could get two years out of N’Diaye.
A good year and a lot of players back probably gets Pope a fourth year.Comment
