WeWant9, thanks for posting that. Well early summer reports seem to be telling it like it is at this point. I figure it will take at least 1/2 of the summer for these guys to really click and learn how to play off each other. McBride needs to holster that pistol. You have many guys that can score. Spread the love. Do not need anyone taking 20 shots a game on this team, unless they are on a Monk or Meeks type of heater.

Appreciate it....but long time ago learn to not take much from these reports. Some folks use hyperbole a tad too much

I hope we never have anything like either one of them.

Pope is 20-16 in the SEC. The worst 2 year record of any UK coach in history.
I generally don't respond to folks on here but your take is crap. The first Pope squad didn't " quit" on anything. They were decimated by injuries and played thief hearts out. Butler played an NCAA game in constant pain and could barely lift his arm. Robinson was out and Carr had back issues. I just love all these keyboard tough guys throwing shade at real athletes .

Bringing back Moreno was big, picking up Milan was huge...but I still think this team will go as far as Diallo/Wilkins can take them.

When I entered that into Google search, this is the response I got...which is much more accurate:

"Malachi Moreno anchors Kentucky’s frontcourt as the primary center, but he isn't holding down the fort completely alone. Head coach Mark Pope fortified the roster's big man depth by bringing in graduate transfer Franck Kepnang from Washington to share the heavy lifting. The center rotation offers a solid mix of size, rim protection, and veteran experience:

Malachi Moreno (Sophomore, 7'0", 245 lbs): Stepping into a massive role after initially testing the NBA Draft waters. Moreno is viewed as the team's premier rebounder and defensive anchor.

Franck Kepnang (Graduate, 7'0", 275 lbs): Brought in via the transfer portal to provide instant physicality, a bruising interior presence, and valuable experience off the bench."

Was it Pilgrim who thinks Moreno is "the only true center"??? If so, what does he think Kepnang is...a shooting guard? Or how about Reese Potter? I guess he's really a point guard.

Sometimes I wonder if these guys proofread what they've put down in writing.....

I think Kepnang and Potter haven’t been practicing, so probably just means right now.

Pilgrim reports don't usually do much for me.

That would make sense... I hope you're right.
