He's official. Looking at his resume and reading about his strengths, he seems like a really good hire. I'm so thankful we steered away from an internal hire or someone that worked under Mitch for a long time. When you look at this guys resume and compare it to someone like DeWayne Peevy, it's night and day.Comment

Among his responsibilities at Bama, he was the sport administrator for men's basketball (https://rolltide.com/sports/mens-bas...ff/j-batt/1084) which means he was a huge part of hiring Nate Oats and the success that their basketball team has seen.
