The Center spot is pretty strong now.
Starter: Moreno- returning starter, potential All-SEC, potential lottery pick.
Backup: Kepnang- former Big 10 starter. Big, strong body to spell Moreno.
Deep Bench: Potter- fourth year of college, stretch 5, nearly a 40% 3-point shooter.
Probably the second deepest position after Point Guard (Diallo, Wilkins, Morton, M. Williams).Comment

I hope he's been working on strengthening his hands. Seems like he had a few problems holding onto rebounds and sharp passes at times. But, glad he decided to stay. He'll be a big part of whatever success we experience this year.Comment

While it's great that Malachi Moreno is returning and I'm very happy that he is.....
It's kind of sad that the return of a player noone thought would be leaving in the first place up until only a few weeks ago almost feels like the biggest recruiting win this off-season.
Yes, Momcilovic is still an option....but I'm hearing that Louisville, despite the crazy amount of $$$ and the overabundance of highly talented players already on their roster, is being viewed as the front runner because (get this) "they are viewed as being in better financial shape than UK".

Hopefully Moreno almost staying in the draft is a good thing for UK. Getting a guy back that will make a leap from freshman to sophomore years. He should be one of the best bigs in NCAA this year.
The funny thing with Momcilovic is that he is rumored by one source as a UofL lean beating out UK, another source leaning towards St Johns beating out UK. So the common is UK. Maybe this is all tactics by his agent to get more $$$$$$ out of UK. Why would he go to UofL for less playing time than he had last year? I am not saying he is coming to UK. Heck he hasn't even pulled his name out of the draft yet. I will wait on that guy to see what he decides. UK has put feelers out for several other guys to come in at the 3 position. Not many. With Mom we are very good, without him we still have a chance to be very good (but unproven guys have to take that step between seasons). It is what is aint.Proverbs 25:24Comment
