Question: Issel was before my time when he was at UK, but I saw him play as a pro with the Denver Nuggets and liked him...the UK association probably helped make that a little stronger....but do players like that count? Or are we only talking about players we actually saw play for Kentucky?

It is a absolute shame Reed Sheppard did not get to play another year or two at Kentucky, no doubt he would be on this list.

Even more so, right now he and the Rockets are battling the Lakers. He gets a shove from Lebron last night and then goes into straight beast mode. Had this kid stayed at Kentucky another year maybe two no doubt in my mind BBN would be tuned in night after night to watch him in the playoffs but because of the one and done stuff, nobody cares!!!!!!!!

Your first 5 would have been on my dads list. lol
He had great stories of Lickert in practice. I think he was the original (Were talking practice) guy. He would show up drunk or no show, show up way late. Rupp used to just unleash on him. But the guy could play ball for sure.

Tyrese was a very likeable player at Kentucky and not for the Covid shutdown, that team was starting to click at the right time.

Brings me to this and I will no apologize to no one for this. It is some absolute BS we cant land really good players at this time. Maybe it's Pope and for right now, he's not trusted or proven yet for some of the top players to commit, I don't know. I hope that is the reason and not something else in regards to his personality not really jiving with young players. If that is the case, that is a major problem.

We have history, tradition, the best fan base by far in the world, who wouldn't want to play at Kentucky? We can pay as good as anyone else, something has to give on this player recruiting in the near future.

In addition to the guys you named, I didn't include Kenny Walker or Antoine Walker, or Joe Crawford or Randolph Morris or Ed Davender or James Blackmon or Mark Pope or Nerlens Noel, etc We could list a top 150 and STILL be ommiting players that should be included.
