Gillispie era. BCG's main "recruit" was Patrick Patterson. Meeks was a Tubby recruit who played a year for Tubby and two for BCG. Patterson played 2 for BCG and one for Cal.

Yeah, I was posting based on this threads guidelines and how difficult it is to choose after Meeks from the Gillespie era knowing PP was Cals guy at the end and didn’t qualify for purpose of this thread. I didn’t choose Meeks (finished with Gillespie) because everyone else had as mentioned previously. BCG era was hard sailing in many ways haaaaaa.

Good catch. I didn't notice the "last year" condition. That sucks, Cal doesn't deserve credit for Patrick Patterson.. Tubby recruited him, Gillespie held on to him and got him to UK where he played two years for him. Cal simply inherited him and had him only for a year.. LOL
