Looks like the new rule concerning eligibility will not be retro active. This would eliminate any chance of Oweh or Aberdeen coming. Back. I am not a big fan of Oweh coming back any way.

Funny how two contradictory statements can be true at the same time. I'm not the biggest fan of Oweh returning, but at the same time you'd pretty much have to take him because otherwise you're going to see a very mediocre to poor team on the court next season. As it is, I don't think we'll have to worry about about that. Stokes is who we have to worry about now, and judging from recent posts I don't think many people are all that worried about him.Comment

Except that's not what I meant. Even on a stacked team, you welcome Oweh back with open arms.

Oweh could drive and get to the rim but he was very ball dominant and rarely passed to an open team mate. When the ball went to him it was like a black hole. We already have two guards that need the ball in their hands, don't know how that would work out.
I think Kam W at the three will surprise.people.this year. i would like to see Pope pick up a good perimeter shooter and a rebounding, shot blocker to back up MM.

Eh. Depends on what your definition of "stacked" is....LOL
I mean....if you think you could get Oweh to accept a bench role with seriously reduced minutes and a seriously reduced role simply filling out a roster because he's behind guys much better than him...... well, good luck with that (LOL).Comment

^^^ THIS!!!
I used to jokingly complain with friends that Oweh never passed, and they'd seriously chime in with "I know!". They'd see the same thing that I did. I remember commenting one time when Oweh drove to the basket and forced up a shot against 3 defenders when he had a wide open Andrew Carr in the corner to dish to, and they saw the same thing.
This past season, Collin Chandler had his career high against Vanderbilt, and he took about 4 fewer shots than Oweh did. Chandler was red hot that game, something like 8 for 11, and Oweh was a bit of a brick layer going 6 for 15.....but he "had to get his". He had chances to feed Collin for wide open shots, and Collin was red hot (having his career high), and Otega was still looking for his own. That pretty much speaks volumes.Comment
