Kentucky has contacted Paul McNeil

This was dated the 16th, before the Alex Wilkins signing...so I'm not sure how much that will affect this, but I'm hoping not at all.

Assistant coach Mikhail McLean has been in contact with him. I'm not worried about who starts and who comes off the bench as the sixth man/primary guard off the bench... I'd just like to see McNeil added to the roster for next year!

Diallo, Wilkins and McNeil would ensure the Wildcats have one of the nation's best backcourts next year, that's for sure.

Well, sounds like no visit has been scheduled, and North Carolina is pretty hot after him and he's from there, so it's probably a long shot (unfortunately). NC State apparently really wants to retain him badly, so it's probably between the home schools. Surprised I haven't heard that Duke is involved.

Sleepers guys are idiots. I have watched several videos. Each time it is 99% opinion and 1% substance. They loved UK last summer like all but man did they go off like they had called it all summer long.

From what I have read out there is the guy cannot or will not play much defense. He just wants to shoot the ball. Does not like to drive much, rebound or anything. Sorry but we do not need another guy that can get us 12 quick points but his guy scores 15 in the same amount of time he is on the floor. Get a guy that actually plays both ways and can score.

Not disagreeing. At all. I'm actually surprised that you've seen them "love UK", because pretty much everything I've seen has them bashing or critiquing UK... especially that Carter guy.

In this video, the clean cut guy on the left praises McNeil and then the bearded guy on the right immediately bashes him.....which isn't surprising. That beatded guy bashes UK all the time and isn't informed AT ALL! I've seen him get his information twisted more than just about anyone that I've seen on a YT video. He constantly mispronounces names, which shows me he doesn't do his homework. I was just surprised that others had noticed or cared that Kentucky had been in contact with McNeil, because obviously nobody in this forum does.

Sounds like McNeil isn't a realistic option. Back to NC State maybe. Maybe the aforementioned Will Wade throws a bag at him.

Cox is probably out too, they're saying his asking price has somehow got pretty high, some schools are apparently willing to pay him handsomely, so he's a starter somewhere it's sounding like.

Maybe the Washington State guard is a realistic option at this point though.
