    Milan Momcilovic?

I thought (and still think) it's a longshot.... and I never would have guessed that UK would even be in the running...but according to A Sea of Blue... CBS seems to think that Milan Momcilovic could actually be not only a target for Kentucky, but one of the favorites (along with Florida and Kansas).... IF he pulls out of the draft.

That would be one heckuva nice little consolation prize if Stokes goes to Kansas... because I doubt Kansas is getting both.

Fits Pope’s offense to a tee.

    But a loooong shot.

There's speculation that Momcilovic might not be a first rounder and that the money will be better for him if he returns to college. If that's the case, Kentucky needs to load the Brinks truck up and do what it takes to get him to Lexington!

Take it for what it's worth....Google AI when asked about Milan Momcilovic's average NBA draft position. Sounds to me like he could make more NIL money next year? Lets hope it's from Kentucky.

          Milan Momcilovic
is generally projected as a mid-to-late second-round pick in current 2026 NBA mock drafts, typically falling in the #40 range.

While he is widely considered the best pure shooter in college basketball after shooting nearly 49% from three-point range during the 2025-26 season, evaluators are split on his overall draft stock due to defensive and athletic concerns.

          NBA Draft Projections & Rankings
Recent expert projections for the 2026 NBA Draft include:
          • ESPN (Jeremy Woo): Ranked #45 overall.
          • CBS Sports: Ranked as the #44 prospect on their big board.
          • Draft Room: Projected as a second-round pick.
          • The Athletic (Sam Vecenie): Frequently omitted from two-round mock drafts as of late March 2026.
          • Bleacher Report (Jonathan Wasserman): Omitted from recent two-round mock drafts.
          Draft Stock Factors
Momcilovic's position fluctuates based on how teams value his specific skill set:
          • Strengths: Elite 6'8" sharpshooter who led the NCAA in three-point percentage (48.7% on 7.5 attempts per game). He is compared to high-end specialists like Sam Hauser.
          • Weaknesses: Scouts have raised questions about his lateral quickness and defensive versatility, which may limit him to a specialist role off the bench.
          • Decision Status: As of April 2026, Momcilovic has declared for the NBA Draft while also entering the transfer portal to maintain his college eligibility. If he does not receive a first-round guarantee, he is considered a top target for major NIL programs like Florida, Kentucky, and Kansas.

I would imagine the money is better if he's picked later than 15th in the draft. Man, what a transitional time in college basketball.

I'm starting to think that I prefer him over Stokes, but then it's another gamble to pass on Stokes in order to offer the big money to Momcilovic who may stay in the draft or eventually spurn Kentucky. Don't know if there is enough money for both

Pope has not fared well in the gambling game.

Stokes and Momcilovic together is the dream scenario.

If we could come up with enough money for both, we could be in business.

                G Diallo
                G Wilkins
                F Stokes
                F Momcilovic
                C Moreno

That’s a contender. At least on paper.
