You think Sebastian Williams-Adams from Auburn could take a leap in year two?
Seemed like a solid player as a freshman. He hit the portal either today or yesterday, can't remember.
He doesn't do much for me. Not saying he's a bad player, just not one that moves the needle. Of course, compared to what we currently have he looks like gold, but it's a situation where you just hope they can land better. Thing is, with Pope and the current state of the program, they might not be able to land better, so....

Yea, it's starting to look like the writing is on the wall for Pope unfortunately. And the needle movers that are left are very, very likely not coming here. I'd be content with both of Williams-Adams & McBride, given the situation.
It all depends on how much money we have to spend. This really was about money in Freemans case. Iwe decided he didn't merit a 4 milluon dollar expenditure so he went to the highest bidder. If we have the cash we will still get some decent guys. Will they be good enough to move the needle in Pope's and UKs favor, that's the real question.
Freeman was a fairly significant risk all along with the injuries he's had. Has only played about half the games the last 2 seasons. It might work out better that he's going to St Johns.

Yet, we signed JQ...
This offseason is turning into as much of a bad dream as last year's actual season.
