NCAA’s proposed rule changes could directly impact Mark Pope's pursuit of Dink Pate

Are we about to witness the NCAA actually do something about the way professional athletes have been coming back to college? With the latest proposed eligibility changes it seems like. And it could have massive implications for Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats.

According to a Wednesday report from ESPN, the NCAA Division I Cabinet is actively reviewing a slate of proposed rule changes. The one we are zeroing in on regards prospects, professional drafts, and agent representation before college.

I would think that if pope received a commitment and a LOI from Pate before any rules change was implemented, the NCAA WOULD NOT NULLIFY THAT

but it's the NCAA AND I WOULD NOT PUT ANYTHING PAST THAT ARROGANT CORRUPT outfit especially where Kentucky is involved.

I imagine they can make any change retroactive if they wish to do so.

10 years ago you had guys bolting to play anywhere in the world to make money, now you got guys suing to come back to college because it pays more.

Who even knows if Pate comes to UK with the departure of Hart. It wont matter if he has signed anything, the NCAA loves to wag their finger at UK.
