Hurley COULD have also gotten T'd up after that shot went in as well. Walked toward Duke to taunt them a bit and then got right in the face of the ref. Imagine if the refs had called that!!!

Can you T a coach after the game is over? Assuming you can, would that change the outcome of the game. Seems like once the game is over, the game is over?

Obviously you don’t intend to turn it over. But if you’re going to turn it over you’d rather it be at the other end of the floor from your opponent’s goal. Has to be at least a little impetus to get it down court/across the midline.

I've seen some other angles where it appears that the ref actually initiated the contact. Regardless, what a wild thing to happen. Also, if you haven't seen the clip of Hurley's mom's reaction, it is gold!

I'm not going to defend Hurley on this one, he was definitely in the wrong. He is leaning his head forward and making direct eye contact in a very superior fashion.

I've also heard that it was very loud and the ref approached him to tell him something and was getting close to him so that he could be heard. Like any normal human being he probably expected Hurley to bend his head down AND TURN IT SIDEWAYS....like he's actually trying to listen....not do what he did like he's trying to intimidate by playing some sort of Jedi mind trippy power game.

I'm just guessing here, but I think the ref was politely telling Hurley to stop walking toward the Duke bench and taunting them. I think he was telling him to go back to his own bench.

I didn't notice him engaging Duke's bench. The dude is a total jerk. But man, watch some of the videos of his practices. I can't imagine our current head coach is that intense or demanding.
