Don't you just hate it for the Pukes

A miracle 35-foot shot (after leading by 15 at halftime) sends the Pukies home. I feel so bad for them and all of their gracious fans (or should I say both of their gracious fans).

Good riddance to bad rubbish, I say.

You just have to hate it, dontcha?

As long as UCONN loses next game it is fine. But if winner is out of that bracket I would have pulled for Duke over UCONN. Duke has 5 NCAA Championships, UConn has 6 already.

Pulling for Arizona, Illinois or Michigan to win it all.

I went to Church and forgot to tape the last half. Anyone know where I can see the last half. Love seeing Puke get beat!

I like the way you think. You took the words right out of my mouth.

Just a guess but the games can usually be found on YouTube.

I never pull for Duke. Maybe if they're playing UofL, but that is it.

Watching both those teams made me miss having talent like that, though.

Even though I had Duke winning that game in my bracket, I came up off the couch and whooped when the shot went in.

That's the point I was getting at.....UCONN is practically the equivalent of Duke (if not ahead already), and is surely ahead of little brother.

Why any UK fan would actually pull for a team that has more national championships than Duke and is closer to passing Kentucky is beyond me. Also, UCONN has beaten Kentucky in the NCAA tournament a few times more recently than Duke has. With Duke you really have to go back to '92 and the Laettner shot. Tubby, Padgett, Mills and company got some revenge with that Elite 8 comeback win in :98. I'm still waiting for a comeback equivalent win like that over UCONN.

UCONN wins over the Cats in March Madness:

*2006 (March 19, 2006): No. 1 seed UConn defeated No. 8 seed Kentucky 87-83 in the Round of 32.

*2011 (April 2, 2011): No. 3 seed UConn defeated No. 4 seed Kentucky 56-55 in the Final Four.

*2014 (April 7, 2014): No. 7 seed UConn defeated No. 8 seed Kentucky 60-54 in the National Championship game.

Those last two (2011 and 2014) are biggies. Add in that they have more titles than Duke and are closer to passing UK in that regard, their coach turned down the UK coaching ob and is a dick, and I think Kentucky fans should focus more on UCONN than they are these days.

UK fans should focus on UK. The way to combat teams approaching us in Final Four appearances and national titles is to win more. Something UCONN has figured out and we haven't. Regardless, I still hate Duke worse.

While I hate Duke as well, UCONN is on equal footing with them. That said, your first and last sentence are a bit of a contradiction (LOL)

                            Still, I get your point.

I can be more worried about the current state of affairs at UK and hate the Dukies simultaneously. UCONN is almost a new player to the party. UK and Duke have a history that dates back before my time. Plus, you get all the national media love for Duke (seems to have waned a little since K retired) and just the history of the whole deal makes me dislike them more than UCONN. By the way, I don't like them either LOL
