Evidently Lowe’s Dad put out a statement that his Son wants to stay next season but Kentucky has not reached out to him yet. He states other schools have already started securing players on their own teams and reaching out to possible portal guys including his Son. Sounds like KY is already behind in the process and it’s not even open for business yet.

I think giving it up to 24 hours after the loss is acceptable. But then they need to be moving. And they probably are moving already. Maybe the staff is looking at other options.
And I don't give much credibility to what the parents say anyway. -

I expect a mass exodus with how this season went/ended. I think this is an example of Pope needing a GM type. Someone who can look big picture while the staff focuses on the now.Comment

I'll take Lowe back in a heartbeat, but we MUST go out and get another starting level point guard from the portal. I'll take most of these guys back as long as the 3-4 voids are filled with guys who actually fit Pope's system and can get them back to playing offensively like they did in his first season here. Pope had a reputation for being an offensive innovator when he came here. he failed to recruit to that system this year. If they want Lowe back then they better have at least two other legit PG's because I have my doubts Lowe can withstand a season without getting hurt, he's like Butler 2.0.Comment

To be completely and totally honest, and not blow smoke to be nice and be just a fanboy....I hope the Point Guard position is severely upgraded this off-season. I wasn't sold on Lowe entering this year when he was completely healthy. Now, after a disappointing season where he couldn't stay healthy and on the court, I'm ready to turn the page. If he wants to return knowing that they will be looking to add a different starting PG and he's willing to be a backup, then fine. But having Lowe return as the starter next year doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.Comment

I see no evidence of an coherent plan by UK or its coach when it comes to building a roster for next year. We don't have a single top 100 rated recruit for next season, none, nada, zero. How does that even happens at a place like UK.Comment
