Yes, Cal did a lot of good but, in my opinion, he did a lot of bad as well. He let it be known early on that his allegiance was to the players and not UK. The draft night that he said having all those players drafted was the greatest night in UK bb history told me all I needed to know. Cal apparently didn't care about the fact that he was being paid to have UK in the conversation for a NC every year not make millionaires out of a bunch of teenagers.

Cal's last few years weren't what we wanted or expect. But he did win a title and go to 4 Final Fours. I can't take that away from him and I'm glad his tenure is over at the same time.Comment

Houston and Arizona are the only two today that I picked to win in my original bracket, so I will be rooting for them. I don't have a possible winner of the other two, but would be better off if they were upsets, so that would be Texas and Iowa.Comment

I’m not hating on Cal either. But simple fact is he made it one game farther than UK because he got to play High Point in round 2. And struggled with them. This is the year after making it the same distance as us in last year’s tournament.
But Arky fans are content. The best day in their program’s history is just around the corner. Acuff may go top 5. OK—THAT may have been hating on him a little bit.Comment

I’m happy to see Ark get smacked around, easily one of my top 5 disliked teams.
Always joke about the B10 choking in the tournament, but about to put 3 teams in the E8 with the possibility of 2 more tomorrow. Zona is my pick to cut the nets, so that B10 title drought might continue anyways.Comment
