I think some folks will be on their way to Nashville tomorrow

Hope our guys fuel up, get massages, get some much needed rest. Tomorrow will be as hard as today if not harder. Cannot get guys in foul trouble early. Need all 9 to show up to have a chance. One thing for sure, winning 2 they will not drop a seed line and if right guys lose or have lost we could maybe move up 1 (if we lose tomorrow). If we win tomorrow it really helps seeding for UK.Proverbs 25:24Comment

Tall task but if they beat Florida and win Saturday. They should move up 2 seed lines. Winning or losing Sunday shouldn't effect anything. It never has in past. Remember when Kentucky beat TAM to win the tournament. They still gave TAM a better seed and I believe they had identical records.Hope our guys fuel up, get massages, get some much needed rest. I think even if they lose to Florida they are at least a 6 seed. Will likely be a 5 if they can beat the Gators. I don't see them getting to a 4.

One thing about being at the top of the SEC bracket, you always have a full 24 hours between tip-offs. I guess that's a tiny thing in our favor.Comment

Yup that still pisses me off about that year. But that rule seems to only effect the blue bloods. Except Duke. Kansas, Kentucky and UCLA they will have excuses not to move any of those up (typically). Duke could be the worst ACC team that got hot in their tourney and would move up a seed line (if there is a line to move up). lol

Can't remember what year (maybe Somewhere between 2007 and 2009 I think) we beat Florida on Sunday. Nearly identical records; we beat Florida yet the committee gave them the better seed and the better location.

Might have been 2011, the Brandon Knight team. We ended up a 4 seed, Florida a 2 seed.👍 2Comment

I was in the same boat for 2016. Dad and I drove to Nashville for the SECT title game vs. Tex Am. We were riding high after that win, but that was the year the bracket leaked early and I couldn't believe UK was in a region with the B10 champ (IU) and ACC champ (UNC). I believe Texas AM got a 3 seed and shipped out to an easy West region.Comment

Calipari was never quiet about his opinion about conference tournaments not mattering, and if you look at his tenure here it was hard to argue that. Only teams it really benefits are ones that are on the bubble or of course the mid majors that usually have to win it to get their tickets punched.Comment
