One of the reasons the Cats lost to A&M is because of the Tuesday/Saturday schedule. The players were suffering from FATIGUE

Thank goodness we're not in the ACC or B12 and playing Saturday/Monday games, our guys would be dead!
Pope needs to learn to say less, no one wants to hear this; especially when we are about to be entering tournament ball where you are playing back to back to back days or getting one day rest.Comment

Pope is stupid for using the fatigue excuse. I get it that he is trying to cover for his players but man anyone who has played organized basketball knows the fatigue excuse is a farce. When I was growing up, we practiced several times a week along with games. When I wasn't practicing or playing with the team I was on the playgrounds playing ball 7 Days a week from almost sunup to sundown. It was my life and I loved it. These so-called fatigued players in college are trying to get to the NBA that plays a lot more games and practices more than College Teams.Comment
