Who’s going? My group decided to go a couple of weeks ago. I am hoping they don’t the play the 1st game Thursday. Would have to hit the road early. Real early. And probably not go to the pep rally.

Just read this. If anyone cares. If Texas beats Oklahoma tonight Kentucky will be the 10 seed play Wednesday at 7 pm EST.
Which makes no sense. Because a Texas wins puts them 10-8 same as Kentucky and Kentucky beat the head to head. So why would Texas be the 9 seed and Kentucky 10?
If Oklahoma beats Texas Kentucky would be the 9 seed and play Wednesday at 12:30 PM EST.
If would be better to be the 10 seed. You would avoid Florida on Friday as Florida plays 8 or 9 seed Friday. Barring upsets.
Kentucky as 10 seed would likely play Missouri on Thursday provided they get past whoever they play Wednesday.
Win 2 aS 10 seed they would get Alabama or Arkansas on Friday. Alabama if they beat Auburn tonight will be 2 seed. If Auburn wins Arkansas will be 2 seed.
I wanna see Kentucky win every game. But the worst thing that couod happen would be win 3 or even 4 games in this tournament. But still not win the championship. Then go into the NCAA tournament with no legs left at all.
. I know this isn't a championship team. But with fresh legs. The right matchups and a break or two it could be a sweet 16 or maybe even a elite 8 team.
I know some If not all will laugh at me and that's okay. Forgive me for being a optimist

Oklahoma beats Texas. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that gives UK the 9 seed vs. LSU 12:30 EST Wednesday. Win play Missouri Thursday same time. Both on SEC Network.
Win against Missouri. Play Florida Friday 1 PM ESPN.

I doubt our exhausted team can play 2 in a row. Might as well just lose to LSU and go home and rest so maybe by Sunday at 6 or 7 pm they will be able to wake up and watch the selection show.

I won’t spend another dime to watch a Pope coached team play live.


I’ll miss hanging out with UK fans since the SEC is a UK homecoming party. But Pope crashed the party.

I was still planning on going even after the debacle of his not even showing up against Alabama last year in the SEC tournament.

I reserved a room at The Hermitage almost a year ago.

I cancelled it after watching the same show against Gonzaga in Bridgestone this season.

UK should ban Pope from coaching any team in Bridgestone Arena.

I’ll be curious on the overall turnout for UK fans in Nashville. I try to fly out to one game a year, but this year it just didn’t seem worth the money and time. I’d imagine many have those thoughts for this coming SECT.
