I have very rarely seen this team play with sustained IQ in any half.

Honestly, I think it is the single biggest thing the team is lacking overall, and it is the biggest weakness for a couple of players in particular... BG probably the biggest. I mean, he's athletic enough to guard many perimeter plays, and he has decent ballhandling for a 5, but his lack of court awareness on both offense and defense often nullifies any athletic advantage he has. For example, if you put the court awareness/toughness of former Cat Chuck Hayes into BG, he could probably be an All-American.

my thoughts exactly. He's a specimen and doesn't have a clue how to use it. I keep hoping for him to put it together. Really rooting for the kid to excel.

BG should be giving 100% in practice and game time. Àfterall, I think he's married and has a child. That would motivate me to be the very best I could be, even putting in the Xtra practice time needed to reach those goals.
