    Substitution patterns

Pope has got to stop subbing in four guys at a time. It is killing us. Our four subs are all minuses when you look at the +/- stat. Conversely, all of our starters are on the plus side in SEC play.

Our subs aren’t very good and it compounds the situation when you put them in together.

In the Georgia game, we were up 8 (I believe) when he brought in all four subs with Oweh. That’s when things fell apart.

I believe we were up 1 against Auburn when he did the same thing and we fell apart again.

That can’t happen. He needs to stagger the subs.

    Thoughts?

This is where his analytics lose me. That seems to be the reason as to why he does the mass subs. These are D1 college athletes, I think they can handle extended minutes; if not, that is a big issue with the teams overall conditioning. I believe Acuff played every minute of a double OT game and put up big numbers, and somehow was able to play the next game.

My thoughts, I don't think Pope can help himself and this will continue until this season's final game.

There's only one substitution he hasn't tried yet.

Get himself thrown out of the game.
