On this day in 1994, Kentucky staged the greatest comeback in college basketball history, rallying from a 31-point deficit second half deficit to beat LSU 99-95 in what became known as the Mardi Gras Miracle. An 18-0 LSU run put the Tigers ahead 68-37 with 15:34 to play. Walter McCarty's corner 3 with :19 seconds left gave the Wildcats' its first lead since it was 1-0.
