According to report today, JQ still has slight swelling after light workout.
friends, I'm starting to really believe he won't be back this season.
will any NBA GM take a chance on him with his health issues in the upcoming draft.
If not, would you offer him the same big bucks to come back to UK next year.

I didn't really expect him to be back next game anyway. It will be interesting to see if his draft stock stays high or if it falls enough that coming back to school is a very viable option. Then again, I ultimately hope his knee heels either way. It's a shame for him and for UK that he hasn't been able to play more this season.

I have slight swelling after walking up/down stairs. To me, that sounds like an excuse to not play again. 2 things. 1. At some point they're going to need to come up with a different reason. The swelling excuse is getting old, they still have 7 games before SEC tournament. 2. As mentioned, what's their (JQ group) breaking point on how far they fall in the draft vs. playing again. Seems like there's a Catch 22 in there somewhere....

I obviously don't know what Im talking about, but I just feel like we're getting fed a load of bs. Maybe they already have something (NIL) in place for next year depending on his draft status?
I do hope for the best for him and would love to have him back next year if thats the case. I certainly dont wish any ill will towards him. Maybe Im just a little gun-shy after all the Cal years... (am I still allowed to say gun?)

I'm not wanting to call a player soft or scared, but it's very questionable that he suddenly had knee swelling after his dad took to social media to complain about his usage rate. The truth is we could be special if he can get back in there. Without him it's a much taller hill to climb.
