    Aberdeen time

Last year it was Oweh at OK, hopefully DA can turn it on down in gatorland. When he is on he is pretty much unstoppable

I felt like DA was pushing his own agenda a little too often earlier in the season, but he's definitely got the pulse of the team as we come down the stretch. He's doing a great job.

I agree, he's making better decisions as point guard

I always wonder if it has just been confusion as to what position he's supposed to be playing.

Half of the time, I don't know who is supposed to be at point.

Changing the offense gave him some room to operate, he has a good short game.

Needs to be just as aggressive at getting to the paint in the first half as he has been in the 2nd half recently.

That ankle-breaking drive at about the 10 minute mark of the last game with UT was beautiful! I just wanted him to punch it for an exclamation rather than laying it in!

Let's hope the boos pump him up.

And shooting much better as well. Taking better shots.

That happens when you don't have a true point guard to put out there. There's going to be growing pains when you have to force guys into positions they aren't used to.

He's played good all year and much better more recently. It probably took him time to adjust. I don't think UK is always utilizing him as a true PG anyway. Sometimes it's more like they have a combo guard or two in there.

I hope OP is right. My fear is he tries to do too much.

DA is a solid player when he works within the concept of the offense.Hopefully he will play that way in the Florida game.My only knock on him is that he has a tendency to dribble too much in the offensive possession sometimes. That puts a strain on getting off a good shot due to time left on the shot clock.

                          I agree, Simple Man.

Aberdeen's issues have a lot to do with excessive dribbling. Doesn't help that a lot of guys are just standing around waiting a good deal of the time. Constant motion is needed. We don't have a lot of that a great deal of the time.

The dribbling at the top drives me insane. Especially since he and Oweh are not particular gifted at it. Lots of knee dribbling when they start to drive.

                          Much of this is coaching.

Pope needs to drive his guys away from this.

Curious to see who he guards on the defensive end.

I would start him on Lee and put Oweh on Fland to start with, but I could see it being reversed.

I think defensively in the backcourt is our main advantage. I think we can disrupt their backcourt. Our size and strength at the 1 and 2 could be the difference.

But then there’s trying to matchup with Haugh at the 3. Wish we had Williams available to defend him. I’m a little worried about any of our guards trying to keep him in check. I would probably start Chandler on him. Not a good matchup for us.

He will likely either have a outstanding game or have a terrible game. He will have a terrible game if he tries to do too much. If he let's the game come to him and feeds off of the boos. He will have a outstanding game.
