    Florida on Saturday!

Anyone else super excited for this game.

The guys should be loose and ready to play, with a week off and no pressure.

Nobody will be giving us a chance to win. UF should be favored by a substantial amount.

They are primed for upsetting and we play really well on the road.

I think the key to beating them is to pressure their guards and force them into mistakes. Not a fan of Xavian Lee. I think DA can make him miserable. Then put Oweh on Fland and shut him down. Haugh is going to be a tough matchup, but after seeing Chandler on Ament, I think he is our best option of shutting him down. I think we matchup inside as good or better than most teams inside. They will still likely dominate the offensive boards, but I think we give them a better fight than most teams would.

I’m not saying we beat them, but if we can keep it close, we will have a shot. In a tight game, I like our chances. We have won lots of close games, and they haven’t had many close games recently.

Underdogs with little to lose and a lot to gain, could be an advantage for us.

It would be a huge upset. Hopefully CC- Captain Clutch (Collin Chandler) comes through with a big play at the end to win it for us. Man, he’s a Dagger!

What are y’all’s thoughts on the game?

For 1st place in the league. We'd better fire Pope, though! :-)

Always excited for the games. There's always something in me that believes the Cats will get it done.

Huge game for us. Guard play will decide it IMO. Right now I like our chances better in Lexington, but we could still win down there.

I didn't whine and complain about "pissing contests". That was him and a couple of others. So....no....not the pot.

Why would I complain about something that I quite enjoy. Context is a mofo.

I remember, though, that you don't actually like having conversations. So, I'll just talk right past ya.

It's kind of crazy that as of right now - Monday morning - we are unranked and our next game is to take over first place in the SEC. We may be ranked later today when this week's numbers come out, but it seems odd to be this close to first place and be unranked.

I think the national media has largely over-corrected for the fact that the SEC dominated the rankings and the tournament seeds last season. They have intentionally brought the SEC back down to earth, and what you're describing is a function of that.

Truth is the SEC is still a darn good league this year, and most of the top teams (including us) have among the strongest strength of schedules in the nation. Top 4 teams in the SEC should easily be ranked in the top 15-20 IMO.

Kentucky has 7 losses. A couple of really BAD losses. Kentucky has two wins over currently ranked opponents ( St. John's @ 17 & Arkansas @ 21)

That the Cats are getting votes is miraculous.

They take care of business over the next couple of weeks, the rankings will take care of themselves.

As of this moment, there are three 6 loss teams in the Top 25 and ONE 7 loss team which is Kentucky at #25. If you want to be ranked, don't lose at home. Don't get blown out by 20 or more. Don't get down by double digits in the first half of nearly every game.

Unlike Brad Calipari, Kentucky has to earn that ranking. It ain't gonna be handed to the Cats on a silver platter.
