    The forgetables

IF THE Cats don't turn this season around, we can name them "THE FORGETABLES"

        they won't have a nickname.

they may, however, be remembered as the team that got Pope fired.

The Fire-ables. No teams that played bad or had bad years typically did not get a name. Only special years did teams get names.

By the actions on the court a lot of the time this team name should be: Team Don't Care! They do not (by actions on the blowouts) care about anything related to basketball.

If Pope survives another year which I am pretty sure he will, I want to see ex UK players on the sidelines helping Pope, he can't do this by himself.

If we are going to stick to the RETRO 90's theme, then we need real ex UK players/coaches on the sidelines.

People can say what they want and maybe I am biased towards Rondo because I actually know him but I want Rondo on the sidelines. Pope may not have the you know what to hold these kids accountable but I promise you Rondo would keep these kids in check and hold them accountable, plus he is a mathematical basketball guru genius.

John Wall, he loves Kentucky. Yes he is a Cal players but this dude knows people and no doubt in mind he could be star recruiter. Again, he would hold people accountable.

Gm. Derek Anderson?? He has the resume that's for sure.

As much as I dislike the way things have gone, i still want Pope to succeed if possible.

Tonight's game against Arkansas may be just another SEC road game but we all know it is much bigger than that. In some ways in my opinion, Pope's job is on the line tonight. MB may not see it that way but many UK fans (there is a whole lot of us) is probably making a decision yeah or nay tonight....
