Agree with Pope, this is who they are. A subpar team in the SEC that has the tough part of he SEC schedule to come. 8 out of the 10 games we have left is against the top half of the SEC. 5 Against Teams better than us and ranked. Could we win 1/2 of those, sure. But who knows which UK team shows up each night. We could easily lose 6 or 7 of those 10 games.

Pope you are right, you are what you are. Subpar.

I really thought we were going to move past from the yearly hype train that Cal put us on just to be disappointed. But man, before this season started it sure had the feeling we were going to be a contender, and now we are going to be lucky to make the tournament. Injuries obviously haven't helped but sure didn't it playing out like this.

My concerns about Coach Pope are growing. This many blowouts in a season is honestly absurd. Either the staff is not preparing the team right, or the fight is not strong enough.

In today's basketball world, UK should not be in this situation.

I looked this up and got to say it kind of blows me away. In Pope’s time at UK his teams have lost 19 games, and 12 of them have been by double digits. Below are the those deficits

20, 13, 10, 14, 13, 16, 29, 13, 17, 35, 15, 25

one of those games was in the SECT and one in the NCAAT. No way to slice it, that’s bad and it’s sadly becoming who UK is

That was purely on the coach. Team focus is on the coach and that was a lack of focus.

We are a team of Oweh and 4 6th men. Of the guys we brought in only Lowe and Williams even started for thier teams, both now hurt. Chandler Mo? Aberdeen? Jelavick none of them are talented enough to start for a high major team and every time we play one it shows. That's who we are.
