"Just win baby." - Al Davis

They've got 11 games left, 5 at Rupp and 6 on the road. If they could hold serve at home and go 3-3 on the road that would make them 13-5 in the SEC and 22-9 overall.

22*9 is a far cry from the Ferrari we were told all of the NIL money got for us. lol

Nobody has any idea what the roster cost. And whatever it was shouldn't play any factor at all in anyone's evaluation of the results unless they paid for it themselves. Imagine someone being outraged at the cost when they didn't give a cent toward it. Then again, some people prefer seeking reasons to be outraged.

Not what I said. I did not say how much. I mentioned nowhere an amount or a number. I quoted Kentucky Basketball Coach Mark Pope.
We feel like we got a beautiful Ferrari and we can't wait to take it for a spin.

Pope called it a Ferrari. Not me. Not Matt Jones for whom you have some strange hate going. Pope said that. If you want to whine about that, take it up with Mark Pope. You know who he is, right. He's the basketball coach at the University of Kentucky,

No one is outraged. Stop making that absurd claim. Stop projecting. The mention of something that you don't understand and that you do not like discussing is not outrage.

          It's called D I S C U S S I O N. It's called conversation. It's what people do on fan boards. Hard to fathom, I know.

THIS is a fan discussion board. NIL is a subject of interest and is, now, an integral part of College Athletics. It is going to be discussed, dissected, turned over, critiqued, criticized and talked about until the end of college sports and NIL.

Each and every UK fan who purchases UK products, goes to a game, participates in any way that costs money contributes to NIL in some way, form, collective or fashion.

That you refuse to admit or recognize or cannot understand the strategic importance of NIL doesn't mean that the rest of the world must be oblivious as well. NIL is a part of College Sports. Manage it well and win. Manage it poorly and fall by the wayside.

Indiana just proved with finality and great emphasis that deployment of NIL funds can lead to great success. Nearly instant success. With a big, huge bang! A CFP Championship...BOOM!!!

And whatever it was shouldn't play any factor at all in anyone's evaluation of the results unless they paid for it themselves.
          FALSE! FALSE! FALSE!

The deployment of these funds is a key part of program strategy. I am still uncertain why that is difficult to comprehend.

Furthermore, you can do as you please. Yet, you are not Lord of the Empire. You are not college basketball's Dalai Lama. you are not the High Priest of the Big Blue Nation. No one elected you the rulemaker. No one made you the great and final arbiter of how others should feel, opine or otherwise comment as concerns NIL, evaluations of results or anything else. You are not the Great and Powerful Oz. Others may do as we please. You, as is plainly demonstrated over the past few months, can rail and lament to the heavens about your own wisdom and the lacktherof in others to your hearts content. You can childishly call people names or grant nicknames and clearly the lone moderator on here will allow it. You can stalk other posters who dare not cow before thy sagacity until the end of days. Thou art free to do so and, I'm sure, you will.

Definitely not this coming week now. That loss was a bad one and the timing was bad as well.

I'm sorry. I'll try hard to do better.
