Hart and Pate have history together.

I read Pate was a next year thing but if somehow we could actually get him on this TEAM RIGHT NOW, it solves a whole lot of problems, especially the Point, 2g and 3g spot.

Oweh can play the 3 or two. Last year here on this board we I had a 100 page argument with the old crew who seemed to have picked and booked up out of here this year.

Argument last year was " was OWEH a 2g or SF"

i argued he was still a 2G simply because Pope plays a 3 guard type offense. Of course he could play the typical 3 spot but I still think he is and will always be a 2g, especially if he's still has ambitions set on playing in the NBA. Those SF in most cases are 6'7'-6"10 range who can run jump and shoot out of the gym, hence why OWEH is back simply because of that hitch in his shot for the two spot...

Anyways, I am rambling at 1 am in the morning kicking my self in the year because I was too tight to have a generator put in over the summer. Not the money, just stubborn and foolish, hope I don't regret that over the next 48 hours of so.

    Anyways, back to PATE...

Aberdeen is getting better at the point, Jasper still needs work, Chandler can play that position if needed as he did last year and in spurts this year. Aberdeen more than likely OWEH will play the typical SF role now that Williams is out. Everything else looks good to me, I think we can survive at all other positions.

Problem, what happens if Aberdeen and or Jasper or Chandler goes down, POINT GUARD position is toast. Already depleted position gets worse. Reminds me of my 49ers line backing and Defensive line issues and injuries the last two years, un freaking believable, just can't catch a break at all, can't even catch a COLD, for real!!!!

If Pate is eligible and can play now. Fire someone who is part of that $22 million dollar payroll and replace them with PATE like yesterday. Pate is actually a pretty good player, plus more physical than LOWE could ever be at the PG spot and tough SEC play....

Btw, glad POPE decided to take a break and jump on WILDCATNATION and decide to put Jelavic in the starting lineup with Dioubate coming off the bench, same with Chandler. I have felt Chandler is better suited as the spark plug scorer off the bench, we need that stability. Dioubate is not my favorite player because he's not CHUCK HAYES and he can't shoot but still, i think he serves the team well and is more motivated with something to prove coming off the bench it seems...

Sign Pate, i still feel pretty good moving forward but again, 3 to 4 games back, NO EXPECTATIONS AT ALL from me on this team. In reality, actually been enjoying the games much more without all the noise expectations and fools freaking GOLD...

Now get Lavender and his crew back, BATMAN need the Joker, I need someone to argue with..

I didn't realize that. I need to do my homework better.

So, would he come in this year or next? I really don’t get how you can add guys in late Jan, but seems no one goes to classes anyways.

Jelavic played professionally for 2 seasons in Europe. He's a 21 year old as a first year player. I just think it's so weird that people (not saying you are) ae ok with guys who play professionally in Europe but for some reason if you play in the G League, it's the worst thing ever.

Big Z played professionally too. He played 2 years in the same league that Jelavic did prior to enrolling at UK.

I don't think anyone who has played for pay anywhere in the world should be able to play as an amateur in the same sport. But if it's going to be allowed (which it iss) we may as well try to keep up.
