    Small Ball?

Given our slow starts, should we start a small ball lineup:

    G Aberdeen
    G Chandler
    G Oweh
    G Williams
    F Moreno

That’s the best ballhandlers, best shooters. and best passers. Spread the floor and move the ball. Pressure the ball on the perimeter and get some scoring early in transition.

What’s the worst that can happen? We are down at the half? We trail by double digits in the second?

In other words, I think Coach needs to try a different starting five considering the way we start games.

    What do you guys think?

Maybe that. Maybe Mountain Dew. Maybe bonus checks for assists or defensive stops before the TV time out. Something just has to change. Simply no reason to look like a terrible team the first 10-12 minutes of every game. Comebacks might be fun for them. But it’s not a great strategy.

They have had probably 10 different starting lineups so far. I really don't think it matters much who starts. They have 9 healthy players in the rotation. 10 th man is Noah.
As long as Noah or Garrison isn't starting. I don't think it matters who starts between the other 8.

I would leave Chandler alone though. He has been playing much better coming off the bench.

One of the reasons for the slow starts is a lot of the players aren't consistent from game to game. Pope uses the first half to determine what 5 are playing the best in each game and those 5 gets the majority of the 2nd half minutes

. It is mainly 2 spots. Because Aberdeen, Oweh and Moreno have been the most consistent on the year.
Chandler, Williams, Jelavic and MO have been inconsistent game to game. The 2 from that group of 4 that plays the best gets the most minutes the 2nd half.

Bonus checks for defensive stops before the first TV time-out? Lol. Love it.
