Jaland Lowe is to miss the remainder of Season

Lowe is having season ending surgery. So rotation for this past game will be similar throughout 2026 winter spring.

I hate it for him, but this is no surprise. There was no way that shoulder was going survive until March.

That's a shame. I hate it for him first and the team second. I hope his surgery is very successful.

I was actually surprised he tried to play through it, especially considering how the season started. Kudos to him for trying to push through the injury. Now, heal up and be at 100% to start next season.

If he's willing to return as a backup and split minutes, that would be fine. Personally, I think Kentucky could and should do better as far as a #1 PG goes.

I’m sad for him. It’s always tough when you’re hurt and can’t do your job.

Feel bad for Lowe. Much respect for him and how he gave it a go. The fact Pope doesn’t have a legit PG2 on this team is malfeasance. When Lewis left he had time to get one and chose to get others.

Well the team functioned well the last game without him, hopefully the cats can pull together and make a season out of it

Sure feel bad for Jaland but I didn't think he would make it through the season.

This is the right move for him. I've expected this to day to come. He tried hard to play through it, but he's clearly in need of surgery.

I feel bad for him. This just stinks like every year it seems we always have someone injured.

It’s my first post here, but I wanted to say I’m a big fan of Lowe’s game. Sad to find out the injury is season-ending but he gave it all he had.

Right move for him. This means somebody is gonna have to take a huge step forward

Hate to see that for him and the team, it one positive is both the coaches and players now have less uncertainty about player roles.

DA and Jasper now know they must improve facilitating for others in the offense for the rest of the season as opposed to just buying time until JLowe returns to do it.
