From my understanding all UK sports will be lumped together on the On3 site. That will truly suck. But as other posters have said the old CatsIllustrated forumn was a mess as way to many troll accounts pretending to be UK fans posting just to stir up crap. Constantly negative.

From the release, it looks like the only free board left will be one that isn't specific to basketball or football (or other sports). Seems like they are effectively killing the free board to me. Then again, the posters over there never really stayed on topic anyway. Sometimes, I thought it was an NBA board when I would visit.

Some there really aren't UK fans. They're NBA fans of prospects going through UK.

More consolidation... I'm still on CI, never done the KSR message boards but all that stuff's gonna merge together. They're saying it'll be "seamless" and that Rupp Rafters will remain as a free board though some of their free boards will close. Wonder if any "Wildcat Lair" football forum folks will end up over here for football talk with that dedicated football board apparently going away

I think I'll just come over here. I have never nor will I ever, pay to view a message board. I have been with CI for 22 years, was forced to use a different screen name, but the Lake is back. I am "gonefishin916" over there now, since my DOB is 9/16.

None of the KSR free stuff will stay free for long. RR will be behind a paywall by Labor Day.

On3 should change their name to OnCrack. That place will be a ghost town now. Traffic has already fallen off significantly since the change-over this evening. Football fans didn't want to see their forum disbanded and combine with the basketball forum. Lots of folks were sad that The Paddock (general discussion) was also taken away. And it seems everyone in general just sees the writing on the wall and knows this is the final step before everything goes behind a paywall. I expect more and more people to find their way over here in the coming days.

This place has always been free but that doesn't mean we still can't contribute to the cause including my own tight blank self.

Obviously someone has to pay something to someone i would assume to keep things up and going, I don't know.

I would pay to have Lavender and his crew of minions back just so I could troll them, I think i miss that more than anything lol lol.

Joking. Still good to have a every day narrator on the squad. I still find it hard to believe that a few would dedicate and waste 25 years of their lives just to quit. Must have been some deep deep feelings involved in the end

Anyways, go CATS, zero to no expectations this year moving forward,it's just better that way. This year gas has been a complete cluster bomb with every and anything involved.

Pope will either figure it out or won't. He will either get fired quit or learn valuable down the road real time experience moving forward . He is a smart intelligent individual, who knows if player personal attitude problems and chemistry off the court has set him back or if those he empowered and trusted have let him down? Maybe it's a combination of both or maybe HE is literally in over his head, who knows?

Maybe he turns it all around or maybe the pitch forks and Tubby toilet paper comes out, this season been wild so far..
