More consolidation... I'm still on CI, never done the KSR message boards but all that stuff's gonna merge together. They're saying it'll be "seamless" and that Rupp Rafters will remain as a free board though some of their free boards will close. Wonder if any "Wildcat Lair" football forum folks will end up over here for football talk with that dedicated football board apparently going away

From the release, it looks like the only free board left will be one that isn't specific to basketball or football (or other sports). Seems like they are effectively killing the free board to me. Then again, the posters over there never really stayed on topic anyway. Sometimes, I thought it was an NBA board when I would visit.

Why didn't they just do this at the start, we all knew it was bound to happen. It sounds like the old Rafters, Lair, and Paddock will be merged into one free forum, which should be something special.

I enjoyed the volume of posting over on CI prior to coming over here, but man, there are miserable people who would just take over threads with the same nonsense and it drove me nuts.
