Posters on another UK forum

Are suggesting/insinuating that several of our players should be investigated or have their phones checked for betting apps.

I think this is very, very wrong and dangerous for there is absolutely no evidence of wrong doing or illegality going on here.
It is disappointing and stupid to me that

real Cats fans would imply this about issues of this nature. They should be very careful

I don't think any of them are throwing games due to betting, but plenty of professional players have gotten caught up in it. So, it does happen with people making big money.

I am personally sick of all the promotion of sport's betting, it is ruining sports and making fans send death threats if some player doesn't cover their stupid bets. I get the notion of let people do what they want, but I still think it will be a big negative going forward for any sport.

I zgree, betting, especially on sports should be abolished and carry major penalties for any violations

Half of them on that site aren't even UK fans. Mostly rival fans with multiple accounts. You would think they would find something productive to do with their time like put their feet on some grass on occasion.
